Welcome & Farewell Parties

To kick off each exchange program, we host a Welcome Party, bringing together students, host families, and ACE International staff. This festive gathering is the perfect opportunity to break the ice, make new friends, and set the stage for three amazing weeks ahead. At the end of the program, we celebrate the connections and memories made with a heartfelt Farewell Party. This special event is a chance to reflect on the journey, share stories, and say "au revoir" in a warm and memorable way.

Excursions in San Diego & LA

Our program takes full advantage of the stunning landscapes and vibrant culture of both San Diego and Los Angeles. Here are the possible options for the excursions we will make together with our students and host families during the three weeks of hosting:

Seaport Village & Embarcadero Marina Park: Discover the charm of this waterfront destination with unique shops, delicious dining options, and stunning harbor views.

USS Midway Museum: Explore this historic aircraft carrier, a fascinating journey through naval aviation history.

San Diego Harbor & Ferry Boat Ride: Enjoy a scenic ferry ride across the bay to Coronado Island, offering breathtaking views of the San Diego skyline.

Coronado Island & Hotel del Coronado: Stroll along pristine beaches, visit the iconic Hotel del Coronado, and cross the Coronado Bay Bridge for stunning vistas.

Mission Beach & Belmont Park: Experience the classic California beach vibe with roller coasters, boardwalk fun, and sandy shores.

Las Americas Premium Outlets: Shop at San Diego’s largest outlet center, featuring a variety of popular brands.

Oceanside Beach & California Surf Museum: Relax by the ocean, learn about surf culture, and explore the vibrant Oceanside Sunset Market.
